Financial Aid Timeline

The key to financing your education is to plan early and keep your options open. The more you know about how financial aid works, the better prepared you will be to pay for college programs. The following timeline should help our prospective undergraduate families. August to October

  • Schedule an individual visit to campus or join us for one of many Admissions Visit Events.

  • All contributors to the FAFSA should sign up for an FSA ID. FSA ID鈥檚 are linked to your Social Security number and may take from 1-3 days to validate. It鈥檚 best to before filling out the FAFSA.
     

December to May

  • . For the 2024-25 academic year, the FAFSA is available; for the 2025-26 academic year, the FAFSA should be available on December 1, 2024. Please refer to the FAFSA Simplification page for more info. To do this you will refer to your prior prior year鈥檚 Federal Tax Return (1040, 1040A, 1040EX). Be sure to write down your personal FSA ID for future logins to your account.
  • PA State Residents: Be sure to complete your FAFSA by May 1st to be considered for the PA State Grant. Residents of states other than PA: Please check your state鈥檚 FAFSA filling deadline and if they consider reciprocal grants.
